In the mid 80s, Albert King announced his retirement, but it was to be short lived. Albert King concerts were held all over the world, from Europe to America for the rest of the decade. Indeed, Albert King went on performing until his death in 1992. The world suffered a sad loss with his death, and the world of blues will never be the same again.
